Stay and Play in a Castle at Excalibur
The Excalibur Hotel and Casino is
one of Las Vegas’ most recognizable landmarks, a cartoonish castle that offers
family fun mixed with the adult pleasures of Sin City. The 3,991 rooms that comprise the Excalibur
are decorated in a regal burgundy palette, featuring 42-inch flat-screen
televisions, granite countertops in the bathroom, and other elegant touches at
an affordable price, as well as offering kingly suites with romantic touches
like Jacuzzis for honeymooners. For a
royal Vegas wedding, the Excalibur offers The Canterbury Wedding Chapel, which
features vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, and chandeliers.
Try your hand at one of the games on
the 100,000 square foot casino floor including: Roulette, Blackjack, Craps,
7-Card Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, Texas Hold ‘Em, Let It Ride,
Keno, Video Keno, Video Poker, slots, a Big Six Wheel, Mini-Baccarat, and
Megabucks, as well as a 145 seat race and sports book. The kids can play some games of their own in
the Fun Dungeon, featuring the latest arcade games. Other family-friendly fun includes a midway
carnival, the Extreme Log Ride, and the Happy Feet 4D Ride, as well as their
most popular family attraction, the Spongebob Squarepants 4-D Special FX Ride,
where you can join Spongebob on his quest to find a runaway pickle for the
perfect Krabby Patty, giving kids a new way to experience Bikini Bottom by
incorporating wind, bubbles, scent, and other effects.
For dinner, enjoy The Steakhouse at
Camelot for Zagat award-winning surf and turf, Dick’s Last Resort for finger
foods and delightfully sassy service, or Baja Fresh for Mexican. Excalibur will be opening Lynryd Skynyrd BBQ
& Beer and American Burger Works this coming winter. For casual dining, try the Excalibur Buffet,
Krispy Kreme, and the food court. The
most famous dinner experience at Excalibur is their two nightly showings of
Tournament of Kings, serving up a medieval banquet while you enjoy the
jousting.
After dinner, disco fans will enjoy
the Australian Bee Gees Show. Excalibur
is a bachelorette party paradise with Holly’s
World star and former Playmate Laura Croft’s Night School 4 Girls, teaching
beauty tips, pole-dancing, and burlesque moves and The Thunder from Down Under
male revue. Although Excalibur itself
offers guests a great deal of entertainment, a monorail connects King Arthur’s
castle to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay.
The Excalibur is certain to delight Sin City visitors of all ages,
offering something for the entire family at reasonable rates and a convenient
location.
